School Sensory Garden for Early Years
Raised beds from oak sleepers were made to create areas for plants that could be touched, tasted, smelled and seen. A playhouse was constructed in the corner next to seating area. A tall bamboo screen was planted in the 'hearing' area which young children could run through. A floor transfer in the shape of a vine was applied to a concrete path with numbers up to 20.
