The first picture gives an idea of what the garden was like before work started. The shape of the lawn was redesigned to give a flowing effect and I produced a planting plan for the borders to include pink, white and purple flowers.The border is densely planted with bulbs such as Allium 'purple sensation', Iris reticulata, snowdrops, Anemone blanda to extend interest. Medium height long lasting flowers of erysimum 'boules mauve',Gaura Lindheimeri ' whirling butterflies' and verbena bonariensis are combined with Stipa, Miscanthus and Lomandra grasses.
